My AI tool stack (less, but better).
As promised in my last post, this is my tool recommendation. I'm sharing the lesson I learnt and keep reminding myself:

**My AI Tool Stack **(Less, But Better)
As promised in my last post, this is my tool recommendation. I'm sharing the lesson I learnt and keep reminding myself:
-
Using more AI is not the goal.
-
Amplifying what truly matters is where real value is created.
-
**Don’t fall into the trap of **“Busy AI.”
Here’s how I now think about my stack
Must-Have
Foundational tools with the highest signal-to-noise ratio.
-
Claude – Deep reasoning and long-form clarity, Claude Code and Claude Work
-
Gemini – Extremely effective inside the Google ecosystem, my thinking partner
-
Capacities – Object-based PKM powered by AI, the centrepiece of my PKM
-
Readwise – Turns consumption into compounding knowledge
-
Raycast – Personal command center. Saves time every single day
-
NotebookLM – The most powerful tool for research & learning workflows
-
Nanobanana — Best image generation, for presentations as well
-
Google AI Studio — My default go-to tool for vibe-coding, everyone should try
-
n8n — Link and automate my workflows, agentic capabilities
Highly Recommend
High leverage when used intentionally.
-
ChatGPT – The most versatile AI for thinking, planning, and execution
-
Perplexity – Fast, cited research without the noise
-
Obsidian/Heptabase – For serious thinking, not just note collecting
-
Gamma – Clear, polished outputs with minimal effort
-
Cursor / Claude Code – AI that actually understands your code
-
Superhuman Mail – Inbox control for people who value focus
-
Grammarly – Quietly raises the quality bar of your writing
Worth Trying
Powerful tools if they align with your workflows.
-
Grok/MiniMax – Alternative LLM perspectives
-
Logseq/Anytype – Different ways to structure thinking, networked, graphed.
-
Lovable/Google Opal – Fast prototyping & vibe coding
-
Zapier/Make/n8n – Automation when it removes real friction
-
Plaude/Granola/Remarkable – Better meetings and deeper focus
Final Thought
AI should remove friction, don't use AI for AI’s sake.
If your tools make you busier but not better, you’re doing it wrong.
Less AI. More leverage.
